Cheeky Monkey Silverback Imperial Stout – Bourbon & Vanilla

Your favourite stout with a cheeky twist. We’ve added Bourbon and Vanilla into our ever-popular Silverback Imperial Stout recipe to bring a new dimension to our favourite winter seasonal brew.

AROMA:

Sweet chocolate, underscored by a hint of heavily toasted rye bread. As it warms, subtle notes of bourbon and vanilla present.

TASTE:

With a bold hit of fresh espresso and hints of milk chocolate (as per the original)… these chocolate and coffee notes are complemented by a smooth, mellow influence of bourbon, with vanilla notes that emerge mid-palate. They add a slight creamy sweetness that balances the stout’s inherent bitterness.

MOUTHFEEL:

Full. Real full. It’s Imperial Stout as it should be….luxurious and velvety baby!

This is our 12th year brewing Silverback and it’s one of our most in demand limited releases.

We’ve worked hard over the years to grow the beast, with it evolving into different formats, ABVs and flavours. We are on the quest to make the best version possible, which means we’re forever tweaking and perfecting. And this year, we’ve decided to hit full GO and drop two versions at once!
