Rabbit Hill - Surf Break Series
Green fruits, gooseberry and a little citrus. Lively and powerful hop aroma.
A delightful balance between soft and heavy on the palate. The softness comes from a rounded water profile and protein heavy malts. Bitterness is gentle to match.
A thick and hazy big ‘un, chock full of complex notes of white wine, gooseberry and citrus. Soft malt flavour, and big and punchy on the aroma.
“I am incredibly happy with the result. Simcoe and Centennial add an element of familiarity to Rabbit’s hop bill, but Nelson Sauvin is dominant. Its complex oil composition has synchronised perfectly with the ester profile of our house yeast and has truly made this a unique hazy beer. It gives me confidence in the utility of Nelson Sauvin in this corner of brewing and I am sure it will reappear in other Cheeky Monkey hazy beers down the line.”
